General Questions
Can a commercial roof be restored instead of replaced?
Many commercial roofs can be restored when the roof deck remains structurally sound and moisture damage is limited to roughly under 10-15% of the roof surface. Restoration suitability depends on the roofing system, overall condition, repair history, and amount of trapped moisture — a free assessment confirms which category your roof falls into. See our full Commercial Roof Restoration service for details.
How do I know whether my commercial roof needs repair or replacement?
Isolated damage with the rest of the roof performing well usually points to repair. Widespread moisture intrusion, structural deck damage, or membrane failure affecting more than roughly 25-30% of the roof surface usually points to replacement. Everything in between is often a restoration candidate. Our full guide walks through the specific signs for each category.
Do you repair leaking flat roofs?
Yes — flat and low-slope commercial roofs are our focus. We trace the actual source of a leak rather than just patching where water shows up inside the building, since the two are often in different locations. See our Commercial Roof Repair service for our full process.
Do you restore commercial metal roofs?
Yes — metal roof restoration is one of our most common projects. We address rust, seam separation, and fastener issues first, then apply a seamless reflective coating system to seal the roof and extend its service life. See our Metal Roof Restoration page for details.
What types of commercial roofing systems do you work on?
We install, repair, and restore metal, TPO, EPDM, single-ply membrane, fabric-reinforced, and SPF roofing systems, along with Conklin coating systems. See our full roofing systems lineup for a comparison of each.
Will commercial roof restoration interrupt business operations?
Restoration typically causes far less disruption than a full replacement since there's no tear-off involved, and work can often be scheduled around business hours or after hours for occupied buildings.
How often should a commercial roof be inspected?
Most commercial roofs benefit from at least two scheduled inspections per year — typically spring and fall — plus an additional inspection after any major storm event. See our Commercial Roof Maintenance service for a full maintenance schedule.

Company Questions
Are you licensed and insured?
We carry general liability insurance on every project. Kentucky does not require a state roofing license, and our Tennessee project sizes to date have stayed under the $25,000 threshold that would require a Tennessee contractor's license. We monitor licensing requirements in both states as our business grows. See our full About Us page for more on our credentials.
What warranty comes with your work?
New installations and restorations are backed by Conklin's manufacturer material warranty, plus our own company workmanship warranty of 10-20 years depending on the roofing system installed. We'll walk you through the exact coverage for your project as part of your proposal.
How quickly can you respond to an active roof leak?
We prioritize active leaks and storm-damage calls and aim to call you back as soon as possible for true emergencies. Existing customers with an active warranty are typically contacted within 24 hours, and new customer inquiries within 48 hours, to schedule an assessment.
